Collection of Access Data on the Website
On our website, we save data when you access the website as server-logfiles. Additionally, we store data aggregated and anonymized to count the requests to our website for statistical purpose. The following data is stored in server-logfiles:
- IP address
- Time and date
- Type of the request (i.e. post request)
- requested URL
- Protocol
- Status information
- Count of transmitted bytes
- Browser information
- Referrer
- Additional header information (if transmitted) and
- potentially information about errors and error messages, which happen during accessing the website, where a specific explanation of error messages is not possible due to technical reasons
We reserve the right to subsequently check the log files if there is concrete evidence of illegal use. The legal basis for data storage is therefore a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. The log files are stored for a period of 6 months and then automatically deleted again. Emails, appointments and photos/data relating to hikes
If you send us an email, we save this data. For example, the email address is considered personal data - your email may contain further personal data that we only know after receiving the email. If you contact us by telephone, we store your telephone number in telephone logs, for example, including your first and last name. The data you provide is generally necessary so that we can fulfill a contractual or pre-contractual interest. We also have a legitimate interest in informing you as a customer about new or additional offers regarding our services.
We store this data until the end of the fifth following year (§ 1325 ABGB). We keep documents relevant to financial or tax law for a full 7 years (§ 132/1 BAO and §§190, 212 UGB).
To provide the services 'emails, appointments and photos/tour data', we use the following data processor: Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Switzerland. Your data will be processed outside the EU or EEA, namely in Switzerland. Your Rights
You are entitled to receive information free of charge about which person-related data we have stored about you.
In addition, you have the right to correct incorrect data, revoke consent, block and delete your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority if you suspect unlawful data processing. The data we store will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose and deletion does not conflict with any legal retention obligations.
